Who am I to say?

La Mer Moisturizing Cream – £170 for 60ml – Capture the healing energies of the sea with Crème de la Mer. The legendary Miracle Broth empowers skin’s natural renewal process, visibly transforming with the promise of new radiance, the look of youth.OR…..
La Mer Illuminating Eye Gel – £85 for 15ml – Creates with Miracle Broth, innovative new ferments, and light-bending sea pearls, this refreshing treatment instantly lights up the eyes.

Both these products are available on the BA onboard shop. Maybe I should try one, and see if it works. Who am I to say these products may be a little over-priced? Who am I to say that the claim of ‘new radiance’ may be rather strong. One of the great things of our world is that we can choose what to believe and what we spend our money on.

If anyone does purchase one of the above two items, perhaps you could let fellow blog readers whether it was effective.

  1. Andrew they are over priced because the research with animals over a number of years. I hate these marketing Numptys.
See a post of mine from many years ago, from India. ( if you can be bothered to find it)
India is a few years into the cosmetic giants preying on the middle and upwards tiers focussing on everyone becoming whiter! Its a disgrace and its as much focussed men andwomen. Bollywood Stars involve themselves in adverts that visibly change an Indian into a whiter Indian. Yes there are more complex issues around the “Backer South” and “Lighter Mumbai and Delhi” . It is absolutely abhorrent.
    I will shut now

  2. As they say in Marketing the more expensive the better. Apparently there are enough people who believe that (otherwise it would not make it into BA´s on board shop). Would be cool to find out how many believe the message and buy it.
