Not my idea

We all have our passions. That’s great. They take our time. Manchester United supporter, gardener, golfer, soap opera addict, climber, whatever. Sometimes we get a little too obsessed with our thing. We think we know the best way to spend our time.

Over the past months I have not always been able to do what I wanted to do. I have noticed that on every occasion I have enjoyed the activity or time spent which I would not have chosen. So, do we know best? What happens when we let ourselves be directed by others?

It’s not at all about abandoning your passions, but more about occasionally saying no to what you would normally do.

Something to think about.
