Red Carpet

We have so many great people coming to our house. They may be bringing us meals, coming to stay a few days, a friend not seen in ages, a golf player, neighbours picking me off the floor, parents, great friends, health and hospice people, handymen, our cleaner…….so we decided we should roll out the red carpet for them…..

After all they do for us, they deserve the red carpet treatment.

It is of course very helpful for me and the rail gives me something to hold while walking. A big thank you to Dacorum Council and to wonder-handyman, Alf, for installing it. Der Rote Teppich/Le Tapis Rouge has become a place for Sebastian to practice uphill putts.

  1. Helpful for you Andrew of course but good to see that Seb has found a practical use also to aid his golf aspirations.

  2. Dearest Andrew, We were stunned to find out your condition has reached such a stage, however, we are heartened to see that you are able to take it all in your stride and are constantly looking at all the positives while accepting your changing conditions. We particularly like your description of the Tapis de rouge and its many purposes. It seems like you and Seb have set the standard for the father and son billy cart race. Thinking of you all.
