Wheelchair, eye gaze, fan, van, NIV, A/C, leg separator, hand splints, water bottle. Alot of equipment, alot to learn. Explaining every detail, repeatedly, can be exhausting. So, I was delighted when Steve and Wil brought two simple and effective pieces of equipment. Cost – £5.49.

The first is a USB fan, which is attached to the eye gaze and points at my face. It works! Thanks Wil. The second is a spray bottle, 0.5 litres, the sort you use for plants. Steve sprayed it, to help cool me down (34⁰c on the day he came, yes in England).

It’s fascinating to observe how the mind works. I was spelling a word with the alphabet chart.

The – The – no, there is more
There – There – no, there is more
Theres – There’s – There is – no, there is more
Theresa – There’s a – in the end, the name Theresa comes.

  1. Happy Birthday for today, Andrew.

I’m glad the weather is a little cooler for you – maybe you won’t need the fan and the spray today!

    With love and best wishes,
