Me, obsessed? Well maybe!

Global businesses often talk about ‘White Space.’ It usually means the countries & territories or the market segments, which represent an opportunity for growth. Of course, it doesn’t make sense for every product or service to be sold everywhere.

However, in the blogosphere it’s great to have readers all over the world. The map below shows where my blog is read, and also the location of my White Space.

Opportunity regions for me are the Caribbean, Central America, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay, The Balkans, Greenland, Faroes & Iceland, Africa, Middle East, Central Asia, Laos, Cambodia, Bhutan, Nepal & Papua New Guinea and Antarctica.

I am commissioning a research company to undertake market entry studies, so I can paint the world yellow. Writing in Room 23 of Water Mill House Care Home, it’s fantastic to reach people everywhere. #ItWeren’tLikeThatWhenIWasALad

– As a slight aside, check out the size of Greenland on this map. Mercator projection gone mad. I’ve always liked the Peters equal area representation of the planet. –
