Wheelchair, eye gaze, fan, van, NIV, A/C, leg separator, hand splints, water bottle. Alot of equipment, alot to learn. Explaining every detail, repeatedly, can be exhausting. So, I was delighted when Steve and Wil brought two simple and effective pieces of equipment. Cost – £5.49.
The first is a USB fan, which is attached to the eye gaze and points at my face. It works! Thanks Wil. The second is a spray bottle, 0.5 litres, the sort you use for plants. Steve sprayed it, to help cool me down (34?c on the day he came, yes in England).
It’s fascinating to observe how the mind works. I was spelling a word with the alphabet chart.
T
Th
The – The – no, there is more
Ther
There – There – no, there is more
Theres – There’s – There is – no, there is more
Theresa – There’s a – in the end, the name Theresa comes.
Happy Birthday for today, Andrew.
I’m glad the weather is a little cooler for you – maybe you won’t need the fan and the spray today!
With love and best wishes,
Susie
