ALS Blogs

Get ALS, write a blog. Everyone does it; Google it! Common themes: last a few years, charity work, effect on family (massive), equipment and health services, seeing who real friends are, clinical trials, feelings looking at old times (today at golf), devastation of change (my stick walking very tricky), falls (one last Friday). So I decided to do something different. A blog about the meat seller in Hemel Hempstead.

We go to Hemel Hempstead to buy some clothes and of course a ball for Sebastian. Then some much-needed humour. I have always liked regional accents (present in all countries I’ve lived in). This man was from the West Midlands, and he really was a classic. The most interesting thing was how captivated Sebastian was by him. We asked him many times to come to the sports shop, normally an easy sell, but all he wanted to do was listen and watch. I understand.
