I think the U.S. Congress should pass a law making it mandatory for all visitors to have at least one breakfast at Denny’s. After all, it’s America’s Diner.

After reviewing the menu the choice was obvious.

The Lumberjack Slam, of course.

As we were dining around 11am we were somewhat hungry. So I ordered additional pancakes.

As we were selecting our meal the friendly waiter said ‘coffee and water?’. We said ‘yes’; I then expected him to say ‘cappuccino, latte etc’. He simply said ‘ok’. What a joy, remembering back to the good old days when coffee was coffee. That’s another reason I like Denny’s. If you ever wondered where the world’s glass coffee jugs ended up, they’re at Denny’s.
