Gloria in excelsis deo sung by the Lumina Choir with orchestra in St Paul’s church, Chipperfield. Felt like the soundtrack to our life. Quiet and turbulence. Many friends in the choir, snow outside, our whole family there. Powerful.

Sebastian’s class and class six sang carols at the care home. Not easy for many. Brave, brave boy.

The Lumina Choir sang carols at the care home as well. Lucky to know such generous and talented people.

Valentina and Sebastian took part in the community tree decorating competition at All Saints Church. They helped on the volunteer fire service tree. I liked the ladders, handmade by Gerwyn. It was great to see the trees and be in the old church.

Woody, Sarah and I undertook a sales trip to Chipperfield. Blackwells features in The Fantastic Race twice, and it was good that the team were excited about the book. Four people, including the Blackwells folks, became owners while we were there.

Good to have visits from Rick, Tim and Tom.
