I lie on my back, on the long grass
The wispy white clouds, the air so warm
A biplane flies over, looks like walking pace
The joyful sounds of children; Oscar & Grace here from Brisbane
Sisters reunited; so good
One big happy family!
Warmth in the muscles; ALS seems a distant thing
Every shade of green; the beauty of God’s creation.
The veins of a leaf; the wasps, the bees
Travelled the world, yet happiness in an English back garden
Thanks Sebbo for wanting the grass long
The wisdom of kids; how much we can learn
Keep the grass long; it makes a good place to be!
Hi Andrew, thank you so much for you blog posts. This one in particular, for me, opens up the beauty you are experiencing.
Just recently I spent a few hours, on a warm still day, lying in some long grass in Ashridge with Gabi. Gorgeous. Long live the long grass!
Your posts give me insights into your life and things to ponder in my life……you are making public what must sometimes be a difficult process for you Andrew. I think you are very courageous.
Lots of love
Michael
