The morning….

‘Why do I have to do everything when my daddy is not doing enough?. It’s not fair.’ ‘My brother should empty the dishwasher.’ ‘Valentina didn’t put the socks on the radiator; why should I?’

These are some of the things I heard in our house this morning. I do Physio to get the body moving, but that doesn’t help empty the dishwasher. The children are learning that they need to help more, in order for the family to function.

Valentina have just completed the Landmark Course. It talks a lot about possibilities and about choosing how to react to situations. Helpful.

No doubt this is tough for the children, and of course Jane. We are very grateful to the Hospice of St Francis and their counselling services.
